Wood-based granular activated carbon---physical crushed carbon

Wood activated carbon is made of high-quality wood, wood blocks and wood chips, such as pear wood, pine wood, eucalyptus, etc. It is made by using the popular converter process and high-temperature activation and crushing with steam.

This product is commonly used for gas phase adsorption, organic solvent recovery, purification of chemical raw material gas, chemical synthesis gas, gas for pharmaceutical industry, carbon dioxide gas for beverage, hydrogen, nitrogen, hydrogen chloride, ethylene, ethane, cracking gas, inert gas, etc., and purification, separation and refinement of exhaust gas from atomic facilities.

Because the mesoporous structure and specific surface area of activated carbon activated by wood physical method are more developed, its adsorption capacity is large and the filtration speed is fast. It has high strength and low ash content, and is purer than coal-based activated carbon. It is often used in large-scale water treatment and purification, such as deodorization, moldy odor and peculiar smell in tap water process.

Wood-based crushed activated carbon parameters can be adjusted and customized:
